E1: 42: BSSV: ProcessSalesOrder BSSV (JP420000) BSSV Updates the Scheduled Pick Date Even If It Requests Only to Change the Weight (Doc ID 2953756.1)

Last updated on JUNE 06, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The date fields from the sales order lines are updated when BSSV JP420000 is used only to update the Weight.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a sales order (P4210) with two lines and set the Requested Date after more (e.g 12 days) days than the current day. The Scheduled Pick Date, Promised Ship Date and Promised Delivery Date will be automatically set as the Requested Date (e.g 27.Feb.2023) for both lines.
  2. Open the sales order and change the Scheduled Pick Date for both lines (e.g 22.Feb.2023). Check and note the values from Extended Weight field.
  3. Run BSSV JP420000 processSalesOrder in SoapUI to change the Weight value for one of the lines. In the BSSV request do not pass any dates.
  4. Check the sales order and notice the Extended Weigh was updated, but the Scheduled Pick was also changed, even if the BSSV JP420000 (processSalesOrder) did not request that.

The date fields from the sales order lines should not be updated when no date passed in the BSSV JP420000 request.
