Last updated on JUNE 26, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Real Estate Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Restoration costs/Make good provisions are handled as initial direct cost as per the current Lease Accounting Model, however there is a glaring difference in terms how its handled during the life of the lease.

For example if the make good provision is 10000 at the beginning of the lease and later its assessed to be 20000 we should be able to include it in ROUA and remeasure the lease.

Its a key component of all property leases, so its imperative to have process to adjust restoration costs during the life of the lease.
