On tools release 9.2.7.2 and 9.2.7.3, when calling an Orchestration or a Notification from a Workflow, the results of the Orchestration or Notification are not passed back to the Workflow. In case the output of an Orchestration is required by the logic implemented into the Workflow, after the Orchestration is executed, the Workflow may fail due invalid data being passed to the next activity in the Workflow.
In the Workflow kernel log the following error is recorded:
Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Create a Workflow that calls an orchestration and/or a notification
2. Create a Logic Extension to kick off the workflow
3. Trigger the workflow and check the status of the Workflow in P98860 which shows that workflow is in error state.
