E1: 51: JSI Incorrectly Redirects to P512000A For Expired Roles With Security (P512000) (Doc ID 2962691.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Project Costing - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to access Job Status Inquiry (P512000) with a user that has no Row Security for Company (CO) or Business Unit (MCU) but has an expired role for this Security, the system should allow access to P512000 instead of redirecting to P512000A.

Steps

  1. In Work With Role Relationships (P95921), verify the user has two roles (e.g. SYSADMIN and PROJMGRJDE). The second role is expired.
  2. From Work With User/Role Security (P00950), Form exit > Set Up Security > Row and verify the Security setup for the user and the roles found in previous step
NOTE: The user and the active roles have no Security for Company (CO) and Business Unit (MCU). However, for the expired role there is Security for the above CO and MCU.
  3. Try to access JSI (P512000) and note that the user is not allowed to access P512000 and is incorrectly redirected to P512000A.
