E1: 41: Allow Completed or Canceled Inventory Cycle Count to be Edited and/or Reversed (Doc ID 2963612.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 24, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an Inventory Cycle Count has been completed (status 50), and an issue is subsequently found, there is no standard functionality to reverse the Count, either partially or in whole. Current workarounds involving data manipulation via SQL, Cycle Count Interoperability, or the entry of a new Cycle Count are ineffective and time consuming.

A similar scenario is where a user accidentally sets a Cycle Count to status 60 (Canceled) and needs to undo this action; no option exists to handle this issue.

Requesting the ability to allow easy edit of a Cycle Count at status 50 or 60, via a Form Exit or a dedicated button in the Cycle Count Review application (P41240), including the option to reverse the entire Cycle Count update (R41413) or to access and modify individual item records in the Count.
