Symptoms

Prior to 2020, when the Affordable Care Act (ACA) 1095-C form was redesigned to allow for more dependents, Participants (dependents, spouses, search type Q) SSN information correctly printed in Part 1. With the introduction of the new form, this information no longer prints. The SSN information is correct in the F08119 file - and is correctly reported in the Form XML for the IRS. The issue is that it doesn't print on the paper form that is sent to the Participant so the printed document needs to be manually corrected to include the SSN.

Steps:

  1. Generate ACA 1095-C forms for Search Type 'Q' Participants (not employees) through the ACA Information Returns Workbench, P08210.
  2. Review the form, part 1, and note the SSN is not printed for the participant.
