Symptoms
The PO approval (P43081) process is not entering the expected Approver Levels with a partially received PO line, and subsequently cancelling that line.
Steps To Duplicate:
- Create an approval route (P43008) with two approvers, where the Level One approver starts form $1.00 and the Level Two approver from $100.00.
- In P4310 for the approval tab processing options make sure that following options are set:
- Option 1 route code is specified.
- Awaiting approval status is set to 230,
- Approved status is set to 280.
- Option 4 value is 2 = Reapprove on change to user-activated critical fields only (to follow the P43080 Approval Critical fields set-up).
- A non-approver adds a P4310 Purchase Order with one line only for a S line type for extended cost of $150.00.
- The order enters the approval route for both Level 1 then Level 2 approvers, as expected, and both sequentially approve the order.
- A non-approver partially receives (P4312) the order for an amount of $100.00.
- A non-approver enters the P4310 and form exits to cancel line 1.
- In F4301 OTOT the Order amount shows for $100.00.
- Non-approver enters the P4310 and adds a second S line type for a different item for an amount of $5.00.
- In the F4301 the order amount (alias OTOT) shows as $105.00.
- In P43081 (Order Awaiting Approval) the First approver approves the order.
- In P43081 (Order Awaiting Approval) the Second approver is not showing any order to approve despite F4301 showing amount open of $105.00.
- Since the Second Level approver has a From Amount of $100, and the Order Amount (alias OTOT) is $105, it's expected that the Second Level approver needs to approve the order as well.
