Symptoms

Interim P07210I or Pre-Payroll P07200 is not calculating the additional SUI tax types (example HM and H1) when the work tax area in an Interim or time entry P051121 is different than the employees in work and residence in P0801US National Fiscal Data.

For example, the Interim or time entry is for work tax area 24 (Minnesota) but the employee work and residence in National Fiscal Data is 50 (Wisconsin).  The Minnesota SUI Workforce Development Tax (tax type HM) is not calculated.
An additional example, the Interim or time entry is for work tax area 42 (South Dakota) but the employee work and residence in National Fiscal Data is 50 (Wisconsin). The State Unemployment Tax Investment Fee Summary (tax type HM) and the State Unemployment Tax Investment Fee Summary (tax type H1) are not calculated.

Steps:
1. Add a U.S. hourly employee from P0801.  Set the National and Fiscal Data - USA for tax area work and residence to 50 (Wisconsin).
2. Add an Interim P07210I.  Enter regular time and work tax area 24 (Minnesota).  Calculate.  Form exit Tax Detail.  Verify no HM tax type is calculated.
