E1: CFR11: Unable to Complete Electronic Signature Approval, the Electronic Signature Approval Screen Keeps Coming Again On Clicking OK (Doc ID 2969814.1)

In a 9.2 environment, Electronic signatures have been configured following the E1: CFR11: How to Setup Electronic Signature in EnterpriseOne Including the J Environment (Doc ID 787331.1).When entering the password on the signature approval screen and clicking 'OK' the screen stays in the signature approval screen and does not move forward.

Consider an example of entering/updating test results in P3711 'Work With Test Results' application. Two configuration records are created one for application P3711|Form W3711B Test Result Revisions  and one for application P9500006 | Form W950006C Signature approval.

When a particular test result is selected and revisions done, the electronic signature approval form opens multiple times even after clicking OK.

Multiple signature records are seen when viewing from P950005 - Work with Signature Information, depending on the number of times electronic signature approval was entered.


  1. Open 'P3711' ('Work With Test Results) from fast path
  2. Do a Find
  3. Select one record and Click on select to open Test Result Revision
  4. Revise a record and Click OK
  5. Electronic approval screen comes up
  6. Enter userid and password and Click OK
  7. Electronic approval screen comes once again
