Symptoms

Enhancement Request for a view mode for Work Orders us requested to avoid record reservations from locking out automatic updates to work orders from orchestrations.

Business have implemented to make use of different status of work order activity rules
When a planner is working in Work Orders (P48013) to inquire (and sometimes changes) the work order header, the parts list, the routing or co/by products,

the record reservation error is triggered and does not allow other users to make a change during this reservation.

When the order moves to a status that the shop floor takes the work order over from the planner they will perform actions like a work order completion or
issuing of material. This can only be done successfully when there is no reservation of the work order.
When the order is reserved by a planner an error is triggered.

This makes sense when the work order is in a status where the planner is responsible for the preparation of the work order.

But since the arrival of orchestration studio, it is considered normal to be able to do work order completions by a robot where it gets a signal and triggers an orchestration.
The orchestration will receive an error that the work order is reserved. This will interfere with this automatic process and a correction will need to be made by the
shop floor operator before a completion can be done.

The shop floor operator will identify the work order parts list is open by the planner, contact the planner and wait for him to close the work order.

This consumes a considerable production time from the business.
In order to eliminate errors this, following enhancement is suggested, that will identify the work order status that has to be considered part of an automatic process:

In those statuses the planner may be able to inquire and view the work order on the progress but should not be able to change the work order, parts list, routing and co/by products.

And thus it will not make a reservation that causes the completions and issues of the automatic processes to fail.
The ability to make a changes to the work order that needs to be updated to status that is not part of the automatic process.

This helps to facilitate an automatic process that is not interfered by users who are unaware opening the work orders on a particular status.
This enhancement is requested for P48013, but also for P31225
