E1: TC: Table Conversion Specs Get No ER if Spec Cache is Empty When TC is Called From Business Function in Parent UBE (Doc ID 2971411.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If a Table Conversion (TC) is called from a BSFN via a parent UBE, and the RuntimeCache currently has no specs for that TC, the table conversion specs that are generated have no ER (gbrspec has 0 byte size). This causes the TC to run incorrectly.

Steps:

  1. Create or modify a parent UBE to call BSFN B91300C LaunchBatchApplication to launch a Table Vonversion UBE.
  2. Verify the runtime cache has no entries for that table conversion.
  3. When the UBE is run, at the time the call to the child TC happens, the runtime cache is created and gbrspec size is zero.
