E1: MOBJ: ER System Function Get Text() Retrieve Multi-Line Text Without Line Break With ActiveX Off (Doc ID 2971864.1)

Symptoms

ActiveX is Off. Multi-Line text in Embedded Media Object is populated using ER System function Insert Text(). The multi-line text is retrieved using ER system function Get Text() and included in Email. In the Email the multi-line text displays as single line instead of multiple lines.

Steps:

   1. Design custom application with embedded media object (EMO) and form control that is used to enter text.
   2. Call ER system function Insert Text() to update the text entered in the form control into the EMO.
   3. Call ER system function Get Text() to retrieve the text.
   4. Call BSFN B0501320_SendHRMEmail passing in the retrieved text.
   5. Open the Email. The retrieved text display as single line without line break.

Changes

Upgrade to tools release 9.2.7.3.
