E1: 76H: Inventory Ledger Report – Chile (R76H6540) Returns “Period From Invalid” Error (Doc ID 2973302.1)

Symptoms

When the “Fiscal Year From” processing option is greater than 12 (2012) in the Inventory Ledger Report – Chile (R76H6540) the following error is returned:

ERROR on Report PDF:

Error: Period From Invalid

ERROR in JDEDEBUG.LOG

--UBE--[4]-- --ER: Line(S2:35): RV Error Description = TV Period From Invalid

Steps tp Reproduce:

  1. Set User Profile to Chile Localization Code (CL) for System Code 76H – Chile Localization
  2. In Batch Versions (BV) bring up Inventory Ledger Report – Chile (R76H6540)
    1. Option #1 (Legal Company) = 16487 (Chilean Company)
    2. Fiscal Year From = 18
    3. Fiscal Year Thru = 23
  3. Run the job with data selection on the Chilean Company
  4. Report PDF has “Period From Invalid” error.
  5. No errors are sent to the Work Center
  6. Check JDEDEBUG.LOG and search the string ‘Period From Invalid ‘
    1. ER: Line(S2:35): RV Error Description = TV Period From Invalid
  7. Return to Inventory Ledger Report – Chile (R76H6540) processing options.
    1. Change Fiscal Year From to 12 and save
  8. Run the job again.
    1. The report runs successfully but it is 144 pages long with 11 years of data.
