E1: XMLP: Enhancement Request: How To Suppress or Disable the Emails That Reports Duplicate File Names "Subject: File Archiving Generated Duplicate Files" ? (Doc ID 2974542.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Starting from tools release 9.1.4.* there is a feature to customize report definition output file name. However as per the design, if there is more than one similar static value in the structure member value filed, and if duplicate files are archived at the same location, an email will be sent to the user informing that the file is archived with duplicate name when the report definition output is generated.

The file is saved with the same name appended by (1) or (2) or (<any number>) depending on the number of duplicate entries in the specified path.

If the submitting user does not have a valid email then the email is sent to a generic address and that gets stuck in email router.

Example:

How to disable to this email feature that reports duplicate file names " Subject: File Archiving generated Duplicate Files" ?
