(Doc ID 2979094.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 10, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
An employee may have a Given Name, Middle Name, or Surname within Address Book Who's Who with acute or grave accent.
Example for surname of Ferré or Ferrè.
This causes Year-End EFW2 R8907865 and State SUI Electronic Reports to shift all the subsequent characters over by two positions and the data is no longer in each of the columns correctly.
Request the software would verify each character and if it is letter A-Z, a-z that contains an acute or grave accent then replace it with the corresponding letter.
Long term customers may want the whole range available (circumflex, umlaut, etc) for conversion/stripping.
