Symptoms
Added a new field 'URCD - User Reserved' to the header and detail of Purchase Order Entry (P4310) using Form Extensions in W4310A and W4311A - Enter Purchase Orders.
After URCD was added to Form Extensions, a new purchase order was created (P4310) and URCD was populated. Inquire on the purchase order just added and select the Copy function to create another new purchase order. URCD is populated at this point however, once the save icon is selected, the message 'Extended Field Warning' generates for the newly created/copied purchase order. Inquire on the copied purchase order and note that field URCD is blank now.
When a purchase order is added or changed using Form Extensions, everything works as expected. The warning 'Extended Field Warning' is generated only when using the Copy Purchase Order functionality.
This issue was previously reported in Bug 29872055 - P4310_W4310A Form Getting Extended Field Warning with Form Extension (included in ESU JN18110) and Bug 31480719 - Form Extensions With W4310A Form Not Saved to F4311 table (included in ESU JN18901).
