Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Quantity Open calculation is incorrect when Blanket Release (P43216) is accessed via PO Detail Revisions screen.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create a Blanket Purchase Order for a Quantity of 500 of an item.
  2. Create a Regular Purchase Order with the Blanket Release processing option and tolerance checking active and release 50 leaving 450 still open on the blanket.
  3. Reinquire on the PO just created and go back in using the Row Exit to Detail Revision.
    1. Line 1.000 has a Quantity of 50 and the Blanket Order referenced in the original order field.
  4. Add Line 2.000 for 450 quantity.
  5. Notice the Original Order Number is also populated on Line 2.000.
    1. Select Line 2.000 and Row Exit to Blanket Release.
  6. Quantity Open is 450 on the Blanket Release screen when accessed Detail first.
  7. Enter a Quantity of 450 to release and click the green checkmark.
  8. The Quantity Exceeds Tolerance warning incorrectly appears because Quantity Open is calculated as Zero when there actually is 450 on the blanket.
