E1: 49: Compartimentalized Load Confirmation (P49640/P4205) Causing Negative Onhand When Processing Option is Set To Not Allow (Doc ID 2987211.1)

Symptoms

The transportation load confirm (P49640) screen allows stock on hand to go on negative. Processing Option 19 on Process tab is set to not allow negative In-transit for bulk items. The P4205 that is called by P49640 is also marked to not ship from location that has zero or negative quantity.

Setup:

  1. P4101 - Bulk item Used – MCBULK
  2. P41202 – Branch Plant MCB
  3. P03013 - Customer Master – Billing Information
  4. P49640 - Process TAB Option # 19 set to blank (Allow negative In-transit Bulk Item = No)
  5. P4205 - Version called by P49640, Edit TAB - opt #2 set to "1", for Do Not ship from location with zero or negative quantity.

Steps:

  1. P41202 -Quantity OnHand - Location: Tthank2 Qty = 200
  2. P4210 FGS4 - Order Created of 195 liters, Bulk Item
  3. See that the shipment has been routed
  4. Load build Compartment In-transit Load (CI) - Load # 19
  5. P4960 - Approve the load
  6. P4112 - Issue inventory and make it down to quantity 180 (less than what in the order)
  7. P41202 – Check inventory availability - Onhand Qty = 180
  8. Load Confirm (P4960 Version FGTP > P49640 Version FGTP > P4205 Version FGTP)
  9. Make sure to have load confirmation using Standard temperature, radio button  checked.
  10. See after clicking Ok (green Check Mark) to save it, the status of load moves to In-Transit.
  11. P41202 – Check item availability and see, load confirmed and on hand is now showing negative quantity of 15.
