Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When creating an Asset using Asset Master/Equipment Tag Inbound Processor (R1201Z1I), if the Cost Account and Accumulated Depreciation Account populated in the Z table have different Companies with different Base Currencies, the UBE will generate the Asset without showing any error. This will allow data corruption to occur (e.g. when calculating depreciation)
Steps
- In Work With Unedited Asset Master Transactions (P1201Z1), enter information for an Asset with Cost and Accumulated Depreciation accounts in two different Companies with different Currencies
- Run Asset Master/Equipment Tag Inbound Processor (R1201Z1I) and verify the Asset has been created successfully
