E1: 12: Asset Master/Equipment Tag Inbound Processor Created Assets With Accounts With Different Company And Currency (R1201Z1I) (Doc ID 2988417.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 21, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When creating an Asset using Asset Master/Equipment Tag Inbound Processor (R1201Z1I), if the Cost Account and Accumulated Depreciation Account populated in the Z table have different Companies with different Base Currencies, the UBE will generate the Asset without showing any error. This will allow data corruption to occur (e.g. when calculating depreciation)

Steps

  1. In Work With Unedited Asset Master Transactions (P1201Z1), enter information for an Asset with Cost and Accumulated Depreciation accounts in two different Companies with different Currencies
  2. Run Asset Master/Equipment Tag Inbound Processor (R1201Z1I) and verify the Asset has been created successfully
