(Doc ID 2988618.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2023
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurator - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
R31410 Order Processing creates negative soft commitments for non-stock line P rule components of configured parent.
STEPS
- Create a stock item component and a configured parent in P4101/P41026.
- In P3291 create one segment with one answer for the parent.
- In P3293 add the P rule containing the component (1 EA for 1 parent) with WADL=1 and line type = N (non stock).
- In P4210, create a new SO for the configured parent, accept the configuration in P3210, save the record in P4210.
- Check the SO and notice the line for the parent and the additional line for the component.
- Check availability in P41202 and notice there is no commitment.
- Run R31410 over the corresponding WO. Commitment can be soft or hard when printing.
- Check P41202 again and notice committed = SO/WO soft commit = -1 and available = 1. This is wrong!
Note: If creating the WO directly in P48013 and accepting the configuration in P3210, no commitment is created for the non-stock line component coming from the P rule.
