E1: SVM: The 'Enable JDEDEBUG.LOG' in Process Detail Page of Server Manager is Enabled for All Processes on the Enterprise Server Even When Debug is Not Enabled (Doc ID 2992302.1)

Symptoms

When reviewing the process detail page of an enterprise server process, the 'Enable JDEDEBUG.LOG' Flag is shown as enabled even though debug log is not enabled at the enterprise server level or the process level


The debug statements are not getting logged for the process and when checking any jdedebug_<PID>.log file the content is:

Steps

  1. Login into the server manager console
  2. Navigate to the page of the enterprise server
  3. From runtime metrics tab navigate to the process detail page
  4. Click on any kernel process
  5. In the process detail page check the logging section
  6. Check if debug is enabled

Changes

The debug logs were disabled recently by manually editing the jde.ini of the enterprise server
