E1: DSTR: OMW: Language Override Records Deleted Using P98306 are Added Back into F98306 When Performing a Checkin (Doc ID 2994319.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 21, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After deleting the required Processing Option (PO) text language overrides using P98306 (PO Text Translation) application, the deleted records are inserted back into F98306 (Processing Option Text) table upon checking in the PO template. As a result, it is not possible to permanently delete those unwanted overrides.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Login to FAT client and open P98306 from fastpath
  2. Using P98306, add overrides for a language (eg: F) for a PO template (eg: T01012)
  3. Verify that the modifications are saved in F98306 in central object data source
  4. Open OMW using fastpath, add T01012 to a project and perform Checkout
  5. Open P98306 from fastpath and filter for T01012 and F language
  6. Select a record with override and click on Delete button
  7. Click Ok on the delete confirmation and close P98306
  8. Verify in F98306 that the record is indeed deleted
  9. Checkin T01012
  10. The record deleted above is now added back into F98306
