Symptoms

When entering a grid line record in Work Order Parts Detail (P17730), if the user enters the Estimated Quantity and a Unit of Measure different from primary BEFORE entering a stock Inventory Item Number, upon tabbing off the line, the system will reset the Estimated Quantity and Unit of Measure. If a new line is entered with an Estimated Quantity, Unit of Measure (different from primary) followed by a non-stock Inventory Item Number, the system will clear the Estimated Quantity and change the Unit of Measure.

2. After creating the Work Order, inquire on the record in Work with Work Orders (P48201) and take the row exit to Parts Detail (P17730).

a. Estimated Quantity to any value other than 1
b. Unit of Measure (this should be a value different from an item’s primary unit of measure)
c. Inventory Item Number.
