E1: 49: Attachment on Shipment is Removed in Work with Shipments (P4915) if New Shipment is Assigned to Sales Order Due to a Change and Multiple Attachments Exist on the Shipment (Doc ID 2994405.1)

When a shipment contains more than one text attachment added in Work with Shipments (P4915), if a new shipment number is assigned to the sales order due to a change (ex: date change), only the first attachment is being copied to the new shipment.


1. Turn on the flag Copy Delivery Instructions in the Transportation Constants (P49002).
2. Create a Transportation Sales Order using the P4210.
3. Go into Work with Shipments (P4915) and add two text attachments to the shipment. Any attachment type will produce the same results.
4. Go back into the sales order and change the promised delivery date in order to generate a new shipment.
5. Review the text attachments on the new shipment. Only the first text attachment was copied over from the original shipment assigned to the sales order.
