E1: GRID: Watchlist in Composed Page is Showing as Question Mark Upon Sign In (Doc ID 2999957.1)

Symptoms

For tools release 9.2.7, watchlist panel in composed page is showing as question marks after sign in.

 

This happens randomly, for different users, different browsers.
Watchlist flag does load as expected, it just shows as question mark.
If the user switches between the pages, or opens an applications, and returns to the composed page, the watchlists show the proper count.
But if the user only stays on that composed page, the question mark will not be changed to proper watchlist count.
Workaround:  Switch between composed pages, or use the watchlist flag.
