Symptoms

When attempting to run Recurring Orders Edited Creation (R40211Z) over an order that has a leading space in 2nd Item Number field such as ' 169772', the following error occurs.

Item Number Invalid (Error ID 0267)
CAUSE. . . . . The Item Number entered does not exist in the Basic Item Master (P4101).
RESOLUTION . . Enter a valid Item number or add the Item to the Basic Item Master (P4101).

Steps to Reproduce"

  1.  Create a recurring order in the Recurring Sales Order Entry (P4004Z) application application.
  2. Enter one line with a leading space in the 2nd Item Number.
  3. Run the Recurring Orders Edited Creation (R40211Z) to create the order.
  4. The job ends in error.
  5. Work Center shows Item Number Invalid (Error ID 0267).
