Symptoms

ER system function Insert Text() is called to insert text in embedded media object control. Cursor position after text is inserted behaves differently when ActiveX is On or Off.

Steps on web development client :

1. In FDA of new application, create Fix/Inspect form. Insert a media object control in form layout.
2. Call ER system function Insert() to add text to the embedded media object control in event(Dialog is initialized).
3. RunHTML Application with ActiveX Off. Click in area to the right of the text, cursor stays at the end of the text. Click in area below the text line, cursor is positioned inside the text line at the place where the Click action occurred.
4. RunHTML Application with ActiveX On. Click anywhere in area outside text. Cursor is positioned in a new line.
