The EEO-1 Report Data File UBE (R89058515) is creating an empty Text File when using the same data selection as the EEO-1 Report (R058515). This happens when Salaried and Hourly employees are assigned to different home companies but use the same home business unit.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Employee 999993 is a Salaried Employee Assigned to Home Company 1, Home Business Unit 5100, EEO Category 001 (Executives), Work and Residence Location is Arizona (03).
2. Employee 999994 is an Hourly Employee Assigned to Home Company 50, Home Business Unit 5100, EEO Category 007 (Operatives). Work and Residence Location is Arizona (03).
3. Use Time Entry by Individual (P051121) to create a Timecard for the Hourly Employee 522534 for 80 regular hours between 10/10/2023 and 10/23/2023.
4. Create a Version of Pre-Payroll (R07200) with the Hourly and Salaried employees.
   1. Hourly Employee 999993 has Home Company 00050 and Home Business Unit 5100
   2. Salaried Employee 999994 has Home Company 00001 and Home Business Unit 5100
5. Submit Pre-Payroll (P07210) through Final Update.
6. Setup a version of EEO-1 Report (R058515) with processing options as follows:
   1. General Tab Option #1 (Begin Date) = 10/10/2023
   2. General Tab Option #2 (End Date) = 10/23/2023
   3. General Tab Option #3 (Report Type) = 4 (Individual Report)
   4. General Tab Option #4 (Establishments Covered) = 1
   5. Company Tab Option #1 (Parent Company) = 00001
   6. Company Tab Option #2 (Establishment) = 5100 (Potomac Hotel
   7. Multi-Establishment Tab Option #1 = Y
7. Set Report Data Selection as follows:
   1. Where Home Company (F06016) = “00001”
   2. And Home Business Unit = 5100”
   3. And Work Location = “03”
   4. Or Where Home Company (F06016) = “00050”
   5. And Home Business Unit = “5100”
   6. And Work Location = “03”
8. Before running EEO-1 Report (R058515), in Databrowser, verify Employee Master Information File (F060116) has one record for a Salaried Employee (EEO Category 001) and one record for an Hourly Employee (EEO Category 007)
9. Now Run EEO-1 Report (R058515) only the two employees were counted. Category 1 (Executives) counted the one Salaries Employee and Category 7 (Operatives) counted the one hourly employee.
10. In databrowser, check EE0-1 Annual Data (F05850) and verify one record was created in the table by EEO-1 Report (R058515) .
11. Setup a version of EEO-1 Report Data File UBE (R89058515) with processing options same as EEO-1 Report (R058515)
12. Set Report Data Selection same as EEO-1 Report (R058515)
13. Run EEO-1 Report Data File UBE (R89058515).
14. Check Export Folder on Enterprise Server.
    1. EEO-1 file was created but had Size of 0 bytes. No data created in file.

Data Selection for EEO-1 Report (R058515) and EEO-1 Report Data File UBE (R89058515).

Report PDF for EEO-1 Report (R058515) is correctly created.

EEO-1 file created by EEO-1 Report Data File UBE (R89058515) for upload to the government is empty.
