E1: 13: Requirement for Adding a New ‘Every 1.5 Years’ Frequency Indicator in UDC 13/FR for Equipment PM Schedule - P1207 (Doc ID 3006615.1)

Last updated on APRIL 01, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Capital Asset Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, R12807 - Update PM Schedule Status UBE does not recognize / support custom frequency codes even if the user adds them correctly in the UDC 13/FR - Frequency Indicator and then updates the PM Schedule accordingly.

There is a requirement to have a new hard-coded value added in the UDC 13|FR for a frequency indicator for ‘Every 1.5 Years’ that should be used by Equipment PM Schedule application when defining a PM schedule.

The reason for this request is that the business has Preventative Maintenance Schedules that should be done every 1.5 year, on the same dates, independent of the Last Completed Date of the previous PM. If the business uses Service Days, the system calculates subsequent schedule dates for maintenance based on the Last Completed Date in conjunction with the service days interval and Scheduled Date can be shifted late than it was before.
