E1: 46: Picking Minimum Quantity Defined Per Zone and Item (Doc ID 3006814.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 29, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Warehouse Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You would like to pick only bigger quantities from a reserved bulk area.
You have defined rules in Picking Instructions (P46095) for a reserved Zone, using "From Quantity" parameter. You cannot refill these locations as the business does not allow mix lots on locations. However, there are many locations in the reserved zone that are below "From Quantity" limit. These small available quantities will never be suggested, due to the setup. So, this stock could expire.
You would like to set Picking Minimum Quantity per zone in a similar way to how it is currently defined in the P46025 (Maximum Putaway Quantities by Zone).
The desired behavior is that, when requested quantity is above the defined limit, then the system should try suggesting first from this reserved zone, and later from normal zone.
