Symptoms
It is not possible Using Query Manager to select the Location field in Item Ledger Inquiry (P4111) to retrieve all records with a specific predefined Location.
- The Location field in Header of Item Ledger Inquiry (P4111) does not have a + sign and cannot be selected for a Custom Query that always displays a particular Location.
- The Location field in Grid of Item Ledger Inquiry (P4111) is not listed in the Additional Fields selections.
The issue was reproduced with the following steps:
- Start Item Ledger (P4111) Inquiry.
- Enter Item 230 and Branch 30 and click Find.
- Scroll to the Location field in the grid.
- There is no QBE field for querying the location in the grid.
- Click on the Manage Queries Button.
- In Query Manager, click on Additional Fields selection
- There is no Plus (+) sign on Location field in header. It is not available for selection.
- The Location field in Grid is not in the list of Additional fields selection. It is not available for selection.
- The Location field in the Item Ledger Inquiry (P4111) cannot be selected for a Custom Query that always displays a particular Location.
