Symptoms

When trying to do a movement and disposition in P43250 Receipt Routing using the Routing Disposition screen error E41102 "Country of Origin is required" is set if the item is defined in item branch to require country of origin. However, there is no form control that allows for Country of Origin entry. Check the form extension and it is not part of the view so it cannot be added to the form.

Replication Steps:

1) P4101. Setup a lot based item with Country of Origin Required checked and Lot Process Type = 2 Lots Assigned with Next Number.
2) P41026. Set Country of Origin = blank and Country of Origin Required = checked Default is United States.
3) P4310. Enter a PO for a quantity of 2.
4) P4312. Activate Receipt Routing and set Country of Origin Required Default = 1.
5) P4312. Receive the PO into the route.
6) P43250. Set the P4312 version to be the same it was received with. Move the item so it is ready to go into stock then for the final step take the row exit to disposition. Enter a quantity of 1 to move into stock and a quantity of 1 as rejected.
7) Click OK and error E41102 Country of Origin is required is set and one cannot proceed as there is no form control that allows for Country of Origin entry. Check the form extension and it is not part of the view so it cannot be added to the form.

As a workaround blank, out the Move and To Operation values in the movement section so as to disposition a quantity of 1 as rejected and click OK. The error clears and the transaction is accepted which take you back to the Work With Routing Statuses screen where it correctly shows only a quantity of 1 in the route. However, you now have to take the extra step of moving the rest of the quantity into stock.
