Symptoms

Pre-Payroll (R07200) with AutoPay calculates a full Salary for new Salaried Employees who start in the middle of a pay period.

Steps to Duplicate:

NOTE: Data Displayed below is from Oracle Demo Databasw. No actual Customer, Employee or other Personal Data has been displayed.
  1. Biweekly Pay Period 8 in 2024 starts on Thursday March 28, 2024 and ends on Wednesday April 10, 2024.
  2. Employee Start Date will be Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
  3. Setup a new salaried employee with 100,000.00 annual salary, a Bi-Weekly Pay Frequency and a Work Start Date of Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
    1. This is 7 working days and 56 working hours in the Bi-Weekly Pay Period 8.
  4. Go to Payroll Workbench (P07210) and Submit Pre-Payroll for this employee for Bi-Weekly Period 8.
  5. Go to Row Exit Payment Review > Form Exit Pay Stub Detail.
    1. Pay Stub shows they were paid for 80 hours when they only worked 56 hours.
