Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When UBEdebuglog (Ex: R9861101) is enabled via runtime, the log file size is 33.1 MB. But when the UBEdebug log is enabled via Server Manager for the same data selection in the UBE, the log file size is only 2.76 MB. This issue is happening with R9861101 which has a synchronous report interconnect.

Below document was followed to enable the UBEdebuglog via Server Manager,

E1: SVM: UBE: UBE Logging For A Report Called From An Application or a Business Function (BSFN) or a Menu Using Server Manager (Doc ID 955463.1)

Steps to Replicate:

1. Launch Server Manager Management Console
2. From Dashboard - Managed Homes, Managed Instances choose the EnterpriseOne Enterprise Server
3. From Configuration box on the left side change View to Advanced from drop-down and select Batch Processing

Set UBE Debug Level drop down to Highest Level
Set Save Empty Debug Log to Keep Empty Debug Log

4. Run R9861101 on the server
5. The size of the UBEdebuglog is only 2.76 MB (Approx)
6. Run R9861101 for the same data selection with logging level enabled (level 6) during runtime.
7. The log file size is 33.1 MB (Approx)
