Symptoms

After applying several ESUs for French Localization, Sales Repost (R42995) is clearing commitments from the primary location on a Sales Transfer (ST) Order with Transportation Shipments. This is occurring on the Australian company which should not be affected by French Localization ESUs. Also, the items involved are license plate items.

Steps to Reproduce:

Note: No Customer or Personal Data is revealed in the steps below:
  1. Before creating Sales Transfer (ST/OT) Orders, Item Availability (P41202) shows zero cases on-hand, 144 committed and -144 available, but there is sufficient available inventory in secondary locations to cover existing inventory commitments.
  2. Create a new Sales Transfer (ST/OT) Order for 30 Cases
  3. Create a second Sales Transfer (ST/OT) Order for 40 Cases
  4. After creation of both new transfer orders the quantity committed in the Primary Location increases to 214 cases and quantity available is -214 cases (144 CA+ 30CA+40CA).
  5. Run the batch Shipment Approval Report (R4982) which updates order status to 527-529 (Ready for Load Build) and updates the Shipment Status from 20 to 30.
  6. Perform Load Build (P4960) and approve it for the first order for 30 cases.
    1. Status on first order is 529/545 and the hold code ** is put on the order.
    2. Order lines are still soft committed at primary location.
  7. Pick Request is automatically generated from the load build on the first order for 30 cases.
  8. Item Availability (P41202) shows quantity committed in the Primary Location remains 214 cases and quantity available is -214 cases
  9. Set Processing Options for Sales Repost (R42995) Version
    1. Repost Tab Option #1 = 1 to Bypass Recommitments
    2. Repost Tab Option #2 through #4 are blank (activated) to repost item commitments, open header updates and order amounts.
    3. On Recommit Tab there is a C1 Hold Code and a Version of P4210 / this will not be used because Recommit is Bypassed.
  10. Run Sales Repost (R42995) report with data selection on the first order and the Quantity of 214 cases was changed to Zero cases on the primary location.
  11. Run Sales Repost (R42995) report for second order and committed quantity was updated to 40 cases in primary location
