E1: ORCH: After Upgrading to Tools Release 9.2.7.4, the Array Variables Values Used in the Orchestration Input Cannot Be Changed in a Transformation Which Is Using the Same Array Variables as Input for a Service Request (Doc ID 3033003.1)

Last updated on JULY 29, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After upgrading to tools release 9.2.7.4, the array variables values used in the orchestration input cannot be changed in a transformation which is using the same array variables as input for a service request

Steps to replicate:
1. Create a step with array input.
2. Add the array to Orchestration inputs, keeping the array and column names the same (Use Add Inputs to Orchestration button).
3. In Transformations leave Available Values empty but set a default value.
4. Test the orchestration by passing one or more rows in to the array and confirm the default value is sent to the step since it's not mapped.
5. Notice that the value set for the array variable at the orchestration input is kept during the whole orchestration flow and the default value set in the Transformation (set at step 3 above) is not taken into consideration.

Changes

Upgraded to tools release 9.2.7.4 or later (until 9.2.8.3).
