Symptoms
Overtime Rule Set (P186401) is set up to use a Time Entry MBF Version (e.g. P050002A Version AT0001).
The Time Entry MBF P050002A version processing option is set up to get the rates from the Union Rate table and Do not use pay type multiplier( (PO 1st Tab - "Pay Rates", PO#1 = U and PO#6 = 1). However, when user submit the Overtime Generator from P186401 which call R186404, the Union Table Regular Overtime rate is not used. It is still using the pay type multiplier (ignoring the MBF version PO#6 setting) times Hourly Rate.
Steps to duplicate:
- Set up Processing Option for P050002A version (e.g. Version AT0001).
On the first PO Tab "1-Pay Rates", set up PO#1 = U and PO#6 = 1.
On the second PO Tab "2-Pay Types", set up the PO #1 Union Table Pay Type Codes , e.g. Hourly Pay Type = 1, Regular Overtime Pay Type = 100 and Double Overtime Pay Type = 110. - Set up Union rates in P059121 with Hourly Rate (e.g. 26.000) and Regular Overtime Rate (e.g. 50.000) for the Union, Business Unit, Job Type and Job Step.
NOTE: For this example, in DBA (P059116), the Regular Overtime Pay Type (e.g. 100) has a Pay Type Multiplier of 1.50. - Add a version (e.g. TE0001) for Time Entry application (P051121). Set the version processing option. On PO Tab "Time Entry", set PO#2 Time Entry Version = <P050002A version e.g. AT0001>.
- Run P051121|TE0001 and enter a time card for pay type (e.g. 1) and over 40 hours (e.g. 50 hours) for an employee that belongs to the Employee Group for the Union and Job Type and Job Step.
- In P186401, for the Overtime Rule Set, select Row Exit "Submit" and hit OK in the Overtime Rule Set Processing Confirmation Box. This will run three UBEs (R186405, R186404 and R186410).
- Check Time Entry in P051121, notice Overtime Rate is wrong. It is using Pay Type Multiplier Rate times Hourly Rate (i.e. 1.5 x 26.000 = 39.000). It should be using Union rate instead (i.e. 50.000).
The R186404 shows a wrong rate used as well. It is not using the Overtime Rate in the Union table.
