Symptoms
When installing Tools Release 9.2.8.x on the Deployment Server, the Server Manager Console prompts for a valid database username and password. After entering a valid username and password, the error message "Either username or password is invalid." is displayed. Despite following Doc ID 2358541.1 and updating the Centralized Configuration, the issue persists, with the on-screen error "Provided db connection details has problem in DB connectivity." The logs display errors similar to those described in Doc ID 2358541.1, indicating issues with database connectivity and missing tables.
On screen server manager console error:
e1agent_0.log will show the below errors
Steps to Replicate:
1. Attempt to change the Deployment Server component to 9.2.8 from the Server Manager Console.
2. Enter a valid database username and password.
3. Receive the error message: "Either username or password is invalid."
4. Follow the KM Doc ID 2358541.1 and Complete the steps as instructed.
5. Upon saving the configuration the issue still persists with the on-screen error: "Provided db connection details has problem in DB connectivity."
