E1: MOBJ: Error While Opening Attachments From Workflow Email Link After Updating the Protocol from HTTP to HTTPS <Error : Security Violation A Script Injection as been detected> (Doc ID 3046777.1)

Symptoms

Users are receiving emails from workflow with correct HTTPS:// links and they are able to login and see the attachments without any issues. However, if they click on the torch button to view the .png attachment files, a security violation errors is displayed on the screen. This issue started after updating the protocol in this setup from HTTP to HTTPS.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Send a HTTPS link via workflow email that opens an application record which has a attachment
2. Click the link and login to JDE
3. The application associated with the link opens. The attachment is seen in the Classic Media Object viewer
4. Click on the torch icon to open the attachment
5. The attachment doesn't open. Below error is displayed on the screen,

Security Violation
A Script Injection as been detected.

Changes

 This issue started after updating the protocol in this setup from HTTP to HTTPS
