E1: 43: Releasing a Blanket Order (Line Type "J", Ordered Quantity = 0) with Populated Unit and Extended Costs from Application P43060 Creates Purchase Order with Ordered Quantity

Symptoms
Upon releasing a blanket order whose Line Type is "J", Ordered Quantity = 0, Unit and Extended Costs fields are populated, the Quantity release column gets populated with a value after entering an amount to be released in application P43060 (Blanket Order Release). Purchase Order generated from the Blanket have the Quantity Order column populated with a value.
Steps:
- Create a Blanket Order using application P4310 with Line Type "J," Quantity = BLANK, Unit Cost = $2500, and Extended Cost = $2500.
- Open the P43060 (Blanket Order Release) application to generate a Purchase order from the Blanket Order.
- In the header, enter the Blanket Order number and click "Search."
- Select line 1 from the search results and click "OK."
- Observe that the Release Quantity is BLANK.
- Change the Release Amount from $2500 to $2000. The Release Quantity will automatically update to "0.8".
- Click "OK" to proceed.
- Click "Form Exit", then select "Generate Order."
- Note the Purchase Order number generated.
- Open the P4310 application and search for the newly created Purchase Order.
- Review the Purchase Order details and note that the Quantity Ordered is populated as "0.8".
