Symptoms

When an Sales Transfer order ST/OT (P4210) is entered, the Branch Plant (BP) cannot be updated. To update the BP, access the OT and update it (From 30 to 10) and save. When this is saved there are record reservations written to the P42210/ F42210 Work with Commitments Recovery. The ST should not have the BP protected and if trying to workaround by updating the OT, a record reservation should not occur or there should be an error when the update is made.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create Transfer Order (ST) (P4210) version.
2. Check Item Availability (P41202) for your item in the Branch Plants (BP).
3. Check Commitments Recovery (P42210) to ensure there are no records.
4. Enter a ST/OT order from BP 10 to BP 30 for a quantity of 1.
5. Check Commitments Recovery (P42210) to ensure there are no records.
6. Inquire on the ST and it is protected, so Select Row exit/Order/ Related PO.
7. Go to detail revision and see the Default BP = 30 and change the detail branch plant to a different branch plant (10) and Save.
8. Check Commitments Recovery (P42210) and now there are record reservations written.
