E1: ORCH: FORMEXTNS: Asynch Orchestration Call In Form Extention - Can Make Only One Transaction In P4114, P4210 And Then It Stops Working (Doc ID 3049216.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 23, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Form Extension with Associate Orchestration on "Post Button Clicked - Asynch" for a button, work fine the first time, but when adding a new line, it does not run the orchestration.

The new line is not added and an error message appears on screen. For example, for P4114(Work With Inventory Adjustments) Application, the following error appears:

Batch is in use or in Process for Posting

This is happening when creating Form Extension with Orchestrations in applications like P4114, P4210.

Steps To Duplicate:

  1. Create Form extension in P4114(Work With Inventory Adjustments) Application with Associate Orchestration on OK button and choose Post Button Clicked - Asynch"
  2. Search for an existing document
  3. Open that document, add one new line e.g. same item number and quantity 1, click OK.
  4. Open that document again and see line was added. Now add another line, click OK.
  5. Open that document again and see line was not added and Error “Batch is in use” appears.
  6. If you close P4114 completely and start it again, one change can be made, but a second change will not happen.
