(Doc ID 3051386.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 10, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Enhancement Bug 31159386 was created to address the requirements of a garnishment wage attachment for California.
There are 2 assumptions the enhancement used:
1. The percent of the amount by which the employees disposable earning exceed the minimum wage of 50 percent was hard coded into into N0700180. This has been changed by California WG-002 as of Sept 1 2023 to 40 percent.
2. The minimum wage per pay period entered into special handling 06/SC for CA assumes the customer only uses one pay frequency. Example California minimum wage is currently $18 an hour. This is multiplied by 48 for a weekly employee (enter 864.00 into the UDC) or 96 for a biweekly employee (enter 1728.00 into the UDC). Using the 06/SC CA has no option to manage both pay frequencies.
Requesting to remove the hard coded 50 percent from N0700180 (DBACalcWAGarnishments) and manage multiple pay frequencies.
