E1: 32: Configured Item Revisions (P3210) Unable to Calculate Low Value Routing Costs (Doc ID 3063388.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 13, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When routing costs for a configured item should be calculated at a value less than .10, the resulting routing cost in Configured Item Revisions (P3210) and the Sales Order (P4210) will be zero.

Steps:
1. Find a Work Center (P3006) with frozen 07 Work Center Rates = 27.33.
2. Create an Item Routing (P3003) that has 1 hour Run Labor and Time Basis Code = 3 (Hours per 1000 units).
3. Create a configured item (P4101/P41026).
4. Create a simple Configured Item Segment (P3291).
5. Create an unconditional R Assembly Inclusion Rule (P3293, Rule Type R); in the Item Number field, enter the routing item from step 2.
6. Create a Sales Order (P4210) for the configured item.
7. In Configured Item Revisions, notice that the system does not calculate any routing costs.
