Purpose

Intrastat stands for Intra EC Trade Statistics.

Intrastat is a system for collecting statistics on the trade of goods between the countries of the European Community (EC) and has replaced customs declarations as the source of trade statistics within the EC.  

Intrastat submissions are based on sales and purchasing information and include additional statistical information, as required by the individual country’s reporting authority.

This document will illustrate the basic Software Functionality, discuss the Minimum Required Setup in order to Populate the Intrastat Workfile and review Options for Submitting Intrastat Reports
