Purpose

This article documents how the Data Dictionary item QNTY is used in several tables in the Manufacturing system.  The data dictionary item is shipped with the display decimals set to zero. There are some specific requirements when the display decimals setting on this data dictionary item needs to be set to a value other than zero.

Scope

This document is applicable to those responsible for deciding how many decimals will be used throughout all companies, in all environments and for those implementing that change.
