Purpose

This document looks at the steps necessary to set up Advanced Pricing to pull in billable amounts for parts and labor on Service Order parts lists and routings. Advanced Pricing may be used to automatically pull in the price for billing customers or paying service providers for parts or labor related to a Service Order.

Service Orders are made up of a Header, a Parts List, and a Routing and differ from Sales Orders in several ways which result in changes to the options available in setting up pricing tables. The details of each change will be covered.

Scope

Service and Warranty Management (SW/M) users will benefit from this step by step document when setting up their Advanced Pricing.
