Purpose

A Master Routing is a "common" routing that can be linked to multiple items, removing the necessity to create the same routing for every manufactured item that goes through the same process.  Master Routings are not supported with configured items (Stocking Type C).

The purpose of a master routing is to reduce the routing (P3003) maintenance on many items. This document details the required setup of a master routing.
