Purpose

This document details the purpose of the Event Rules Debugger and the steps necessary to use the debugging tool.  This document is current as of Tools Release 8.98.  There may be some differences on earlier Tools Release levels.

Overview

The Event Rules Debugger (ER Debugger) provides the essential debugging tools (breakpoints, step commands, and variable inspection) you need to debug an EnterpriseOne interactive application, report, or table conversion

There are three main steps to set up and user the Event Rules Debugger:

  1. Building the debug information
  2. Running the Event Rules Debugger and setting breakpoints
  3. Running and debugging the application

This document is intended for the EnterpriseOne developer that will be using the Event Rules Debugger tool.
