Purpose

The volume- based up selling enhancement (introduced in release 8.9) will automatically notify the user when a different level-break can be achieved by increasing the quantity ordered by a specific percentage. This enables an order-taker to suggest that a customer increase their order quantity to achieve a lower unit price. It is important not to confuse the Volume Up Sell functionality with the Volume Level adjustment, explained in document ID 1062853.1
